I’m a 3rd generation real estate broker at Solutions Real Estate and former Designated Broker of a real estate and property management company in Arizona. In addition to real estate I’ve also owned and operated several other small businesses: some succeeding and some failing.
With each success and failure came valuable lessons. I like to think I learned more from my failures than from my successes. Early on I was told, if you want to success you need to be willing to fail and fail more than others.
I write on Personal Growth & Development, Leadership, Fatherhood, and Real Estate using my own personal experiences. I may also toss in from time to time an item that doesn’t fit nicely into any of catagories and then you will have to decide where it fits.
My desire is that you find some bits or pieces of insights from my personal experiences and thoughts that you can apply in your own life to improve yourself or those you are around. If you find something interest I hope that you will take a minute and pass it along to somebody else.
I goal is to post twice a week and if time permits, more. To make sure that you don’t miss my newest post you can subscribe to my RSS feed or email me.

My Biography
In the early years of my life I had the experience of living in and visiting several foreign countries; No I was not a military brat. As a small child I learned to speak French and Portuguese while my family lived in Belgium and Brazil.
At the age of 11, I had my first real business or at least I thought it was. I was responsibility of delivering the local news paper to my neighbors and collecting the cost of the newspaper from them once a month. I learned several important lessons during this time which and many of them I have carried forward.
At nineteen, I left home to serve a mission for my church: I lived among the people of South Texas and Uruguay. My time as missionary gave me the opportunity to see first hand how other cultures and people live. The experience provided me the opportunity to learn to Love and Respect people of other cultures.
Upon my return, I enrolled in a university and in 1994 I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor or Arts degree in Political Science. Later on I held several elected seats in a political party. I was also a candidate for City Council seat, I lost by 512 votes after going up against one of the largest campaign consulting firms in the state of Arizona.
I’ve taught domestic violence and alcohol counseling classes in Spanish. While teaching thses classes I learned a few things about human behavior. One of those being that people will not change their behaviors unless they want to change.
As a 3rd generation real estate broker at Solutions Real Estate, Inc., I enjoy the opportunity to educate and help property owners market and sell their homes using the latest technology available.
I’ve been married to my wife Brenda for eighteen years. We have three children: two girls and one boy. We live in Mesa just east of Phoenix, Arizona.
When I’m not working I follow politics, read, spend time with family and exercising (something new). I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where I serve a youth leader working with boys 12 – 14 years of age.
